DAISY is a very sound and stable boat, originating from the River Deben in Suffolk. A lovingly built one of a kind. She sails very well in the lightest of airs and is solid as a rock in strong gusts. In between, she is a joy to handle. Refurbished and in superb visual and working order. 11ft 6” on a 5ft beam. Well laid up GRP hull, very strong. If Drascombe ever built a dinghy, this would be it! Internal buoyancy tanks with plenty of storage via rotary hatches. Beautifully finished upper-works with varnished wooden gunwales, thwarts and ribbed side seats. Stout rope fender all round the gunwales. Floor boards painted non-slip. Carries a Mirror rig: main and jib. Both sails in very good condition. All sheet and halyards in perfect condition. Steel stays. Dagger board stows away in the floor when not in use. New oars which take apart for easy stowage when not in use. Kick up wooden rudder. Pump. Anchor. Metal rowlocks. Manoeuvring paddle. All necessary ropes, fenders, fittings and tools. We have spent a lot of time getting her just right. Sadly, we are getting too old for dinghy sailing and selling with very much regret. Also included is an Extreme Roller 350 trailer with winch, in good as new condition, very low mileage, including lighting board.
